Conflict Resolution for Educators
(2-4 hour presentation)
Educators are expected to be proficient at resolving conflict between students. But what about conflicts that arise between educators and between educators and the parents of our students? The assumption is that because both of these groups (educators/parents) are adults, we will be able to confront interpersonal challenges in a mature manner. This is not necessarily so! This workshop focuses on arming adults with the tools necessary to use conflict constructively, face it confidently, and resolve it in mutually beneficial ways. How we resolve conflict between adults serves as a crucial model for our students who are watching…and learning!
